Collin County APA is owned and operated by Quy Dao.

Collin County APA was formed in December 2004, and today we have over 650 active members participating in 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Ladies, Scotch Doubles and Masters.  We offer league play on Sunday afternoons, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings, and Friday evenings, and a once-a-month Ladies only Division.

In addition, the League offers the following tournaments each Session:
Captain/Co-Captain Tournament
MVP Tournament
8-Ball Tri-Annual
9-Ball Tri-Annual

We also hold qualifiers for 8-Ball and 9-Ball Singles Qualifiers.

Don't be left out!  Come join the fun!

Players 21 or older compete in a fun and exciting pool league format with family, friends and co-workers. On top of the league night fun and excitement, players and teams have the opportunity to win cash, trophies, patches, and a trip to the $1.5 Million APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas that includes a generous travel allowance for airfare, lodging at the Westgate Hotel & Casino, site of the APA World Pool Championships, and paid event entry.

Players also have the option of participating in one or more of our money tournaments held throughout the year, some of which have little or no entry fee.

One reason the APA Pool Leagues are so popular is because of The Equalizer® Handicap System, APA's copyrighted handicap and scoring system that allows players and teams to compete nearly equally, regardless of skill or experience.

With this unique system, the league offers a great experience for beginners and highly-skilled players alike.  It also helps prevent the same teams from winning year after year.

When it comes to amateur pool leagues, the APA is constantly setting the standard for others to follow and is widely know as "The Governing Body Of Amateur Pool".  It's no wonder that the APA is the largest amateur pool league in the world with over 260,000 members.

Talk to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  You'll find that they either play in the APA or know someone who is.  It'll surprise you!  Clerks, secretaries, janitors, lawyers, chiropractors, doctors, waitresses, truck drivers, bank tellers, and even school teachers ... all play pool in the APA Pool League. And over one fourth of APA members are female.

Think you're not good enough to play in the APA?  Consider this: 75% of APA members are beginner-to- intermediate players--meaning you don't have to be a Pool Pro to play. And with the APA's Equalizer® Handicap System everyone has a nearly equal chance of winning.
